Carbon Capture Solutions for the Energy Industry

What is Carbon Capture Utilization and Sequestration?

Carbon Capture Utilization and Sequestration (CCUS) is the use of technology to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions during the industrial treatment process.  The capture process is initiated before the CO2 is emitted into the atmosphere.  The CO2 is then compressed, safely transported, and used for enhanced oil recovery or permanently stored in a targeted geologic formation. The CCUS  process significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions and supports the global initiative to fight climate change.

What We Do

At Live Oak Environmental we focus on the regulatory permitting, drilling, completing, monitoring, and operating of Class II and Class VI injection wells. Live Oak Environmental partners with energy and industrial sector operators to achieve their goal of net zero emissions.  We achieve this all while providing an economic, efficient and environmentally conscious alternative to atmospheric venting of carbon dioxide.

Where We Focus

Our operations are currently focused in Wyoming. Working closely with landowners, the State of Wyoming, city and county governments, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, and other key stakeholders, Live Oak Environmental subsidiary Casper Carbon Capture is dedicated to the geologic sequestration of carbon in the state.
